What is Breeza and how does it work?

Breeza is a compact ultrasonic cleaning device designed specifically for dental appliances. It uses 42,000 Hz ultrasonic waves to create millions of microscopic bubbles in water that dislodge bacteria, plaque and biofilm from every surface of your appliance — including areas a toothbrush can never reach.

What appliances can Breeza clean?

Breeza is compatible with retainers, Invisalign aligners, night guards, sports mouthguards, dentures and toothbrush heads. If it fits in the pod, Breeza will deep clean it. It is not suitable for fixed braces or metal orthodontic appliances.

How long does a cleaning cycle take?

Each cleaning cycle takes just 5 minutes. Simply fill the tank with water, place your appliance inside and press the button. Breeza shuts off automatically when the cycle is complete.

Do I need to use any tablets or chemicals?

No. Breeza works with plain tap water. You can optionally add a small drop of mild soap for extra freshness, but it is not required. No tablets, no chemicals, no ongoing costs.

How often should I clean my appliance?

We recommend cleaning your appliance once a day, ideally every morning when you remove it. Daily cleaning prevents bacteria and plaque build up and keeps your appliance looking clear and odour-free.

How do I clean the Breeza tank itself?

After each use, empty the tank and rinse it with clean water. Once a week, wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads as these can damage the ultrasonic transducer.

Breeza operates at 42,000 Hz — the same clinical-grade frequency used in professional dental settings for over 70 years. This frequency is specifically optimised for removing biofilm from dental appliances.

How is Breeza different from UV cleaners?

UV light only sanitises surfaces it can directly reach, leaving bacteria hiding in grooves and crevices untouched. Breeza's ultrasonic waves penetrate every angle of your appliance — including areas UV light simply cannot access.

How is Breeza different from effervescent tablets?

Effervescent tablets use chemicals to mask odour but do not physically remove biofilm or bacteria from the appliance surface. Breeza physically dislodges and removes bacteria through cavitation, delivering a deeper and more effective clean without any chemical residue.

Will Breeza damage or warp my aligners?

No. Breeza uses cold water ultrasonic cleaning — there is no heat involved. Heat is the main cause of aligner warping, so Breeza is completely safe for all thermoplastic dental appliances including Invisalign trays.

How long does the battery last?

Breeza charges via USB-C and a full charge provides up to 30 cleaning cycles. That means you can go weeks without needing to plug it in — ideal for travel or everyday use on your bathroom counter.

Is Breeza waterproof?

The tank and cleaning chamber are fully water-resistant and designed for daily use with water. The base unit should not be submerged but is splash-proof and safe to use on your bathroom counter.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping within the US takes 3-5 business days. Expedited shipping is available at checkout for delivery within 1-2 business days. All orders are tracked and you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free standard shipping on all US orders over $35. Orders under $35 are subject to a flat shipping fee calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Breeza ships to select international destinations. International shipping times and rates vary by country and are calculated at checkout. Please note that customs fees may apply depending on your location.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can use this to track your package in real time through our carrier's website.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@thebreeza.com with a photo of the damage. We will send a replacement immediately at no cost to you.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day risk-free guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with Breeza for any reason, simply contact our team within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund — no questions asked.

How do I start a return?

To start a return, simply contact us at support@thebreeza.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will respond within 24 hours with instructions to complete your return.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive your returned item, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. The refund will be applied to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the transaction.

Is my Breeza covered by a warranty?

Yes. Every Breeza comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering any defects in materials or workmanship. If you experience any issues with your device, contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

Do I need to return Breeza to get a refund?

In most cases yes, we ask that you return the device. However, if your Breeza arrives damaged or defective, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement without requiring you to return the item.
